EPA Announces Preliminary Decisions on 5 Contaminants from Third Drinking Water Contaminant Candidate List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made preliminary determinations on 5 contaminants from the third Drinking Water Contaminant Candidate List (CCL 3), with one contaminant set for regulation and four others not regulated, following the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) as amended in 1996.
