Federal Transit Administration and MARTA Issue Notice of Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for New Light Rail Transit Line in Atlanta, Georgia

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) are issuing a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a new Light Rail Transit (LRT) line in DeKalb and Fulton Counties, Georgia, which would extend from Atlanta to Decatur, passing through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) headquarters and Emory University and Emory Hospital campuses.
