Public Comment Period Open for Vessel PERSEVERANCE Waiver Request

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request for an administrative waiver of the U.S.-build requirement of the coastwise laws for the vessel PERSEVERANCE, which would allow for a non-U.S. built vessel to operate under certain circumstances. The waiver request is authorized by 46 U.S.C. 12121 and is open for public comment.
