EPA Proposes Cost Recovery Settlement for Hooker Chemical/Ruco Polymer Superfund Site in New York
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a cost recovery settlement agreement with Occidental Chemical Corporation for the Hooker Chemical/Ruco Polymer Superfund Site in Hicksville, New York, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980. The settlement includes a payment of $722,250 to cover past response costs and protects the EPA from future administrative actions.
