HUD to Adopt Changes to Qualified Mortgage Rule, Exempting Non-Profit Transactions

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is issuing a final rule that will amend HUD's definition of a 'qualified mortgage' to exempt non-profit transactions, while HUD will not adopt a new points and fees cure provision, but will provide guidance on curing errors prior to insurance endorsement.
