Director Removes 5 Counties from High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Designation

The Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) removed 5 counties in Appalachia from High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) designation, effective September 29, 2014, in response to a request from the Executive Board of the Appalachia HIDTA.
