MARTA and FTA Rescind Environmental Impact Statement Notice for I-20 East Transit Initiative

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) are withdrawing their notice to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the I-20 East Transit Initiative in Atlanta and DeKalb County, Georgia, effectively canceling the planned public transportation project.
