Boeing Proposes Supersession of Airworthiness Directive for 747 Series Airplanes

Boeing is proposing to replace Airworthiness Directive AD 2006-22-15, which requires repetitive inspections for cracking of certain panel webs and stiffeners of the nose wheel well, with a new directive that adds inspections and repair if necessary to prevent fatigue cracking and potential depressurization events.
