California Air Resources Board Requests EPA Waiver for 2013 Heavy-Duty Engine Regulations

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has asked the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to confirm whether its 2013 amendments to heavy-duty engine regulations are within the scope of a previously granted waiver or to grant a full waiver of preemption, prompting the EPA to schedule a public hearing and accept written comments.
