EPA Proposes Approval of North Carolina's 2008 Lead SIP Submission

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve North Carolina's State Implementation Plan (SIP) submission for the 2008 Lead national ambient air quality standards, which outlines the state's infrastructure requirements for implementing and enforcing these standards. The plan, submitted on July 20, 2012, meets the necessary infrastructure elements for the 2008 Lead NAAQS, with the exception of certain provisions related to PSD permitting and state board requirements.
