Notice of Intent to Prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for GLMRIS--Brandon Road Evaluation

The Chicago District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is announcing its intent to prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and host public scoping meetings to evaluate controls for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) near the Brandon Road Lock and Dam. The goal is to minimize the risk of ANS transfer from the Mississippi River to the Great Lakes through the Chicago Area Waterway System.
