Intent To Prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay, TX, Coastal Storm Risk Management and Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to prepare a draft environmental impact statement for a study on coastal storm risk management and ecosystem restoration in six Texas Gulf Coast counties. The study area includes Orange, Jefferson, Chambers, Harris, Galveston, and Brazoria counties, and will evaluate alternatives to mitigate storm surge and ecosystem restoration impacts.
