Airbus Issues Revised Airworthiness Directive for A330-200, -300, A340-200, -300 Series Airplanes

Airbus is revising its Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2004-16-01 to address cracking issues with the main landing gear retraction actuators on certain A330-200 and -300, and A340-200 and -300 series airplanes, following reports of piston rod ruptures during flight.
