EPA Extends Comment Period for Proposed Significant New Use Rule for Nonylphenols and Nonylphenol Ethoxylates

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the comment period for its proposed Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) for Certain Nonylphenols and Nonylphenol Ethoxylates (NPEs) by 45 days, from December 1, 2014, to January 15, 2015, in response to comments from companies that need more time to analyze and review the proposed rule.
