FHWA and ADOT Abandon Plans to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for US 60 Improvements

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) have decided not to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed upgrades and rerouting of US Highway 60 in Pinal and Gila counties, Arizona, following a Notice of Intent published in the Federal Register on April 30, 2009.
