EPA Exempts C.I. Pigment Yellow 1 from Tolerance Requirement

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of C.I. Pigment Yellow 1, a colorant used in seed treatment formulations, allowing for up to 10% weight by weight under 40 CFR 180.920. Exponent Inc. on behalf of Clariant Corporation submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) to request this exemption.
