EPA Proposes Redesignation of Tacoma-Pierce County Nonattainment Area for Improved Air Quality

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to redesignate the entire Tacoma-Pierce County nonattainment area for meeting the 2006 24-hour fine particulate matter national ambient air quality standard, while also approving a maintenance plan to ensure continued compliance with this standard.
