DoD Issues Final Rule on Animal Welfare in Defense Acquisition

The Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule to update the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and align with a Department of Defense Instruction on animal welfare in DoD programs, following a 2013 case (DFARS Case 2013-D038).
