EPA Withdraws Superfund Proposal for ASARCO Site in Denver, Colorado

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has withdrawn its 1993 proposal to add the ASARCO, Inc. (Globe Plant) site in Denver, Colorado to the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL) due to the site being deferred to the State of Colorado, where most cleanup work has been completed.
