US Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Threatened Status for Four Subspecies of Ringed Seal
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has completed a comprehensive review of the ringed seal under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and proposes to list four subspecies as threatened due to their declining populations and habitat degradation.
