FMCSA Exempts 36 Individuals with Insulin-Treated Diabetes Mellitus from Commercial Motor Vehicle Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has confirmed its decision to exempt 36 individuals with insulin-treated diabetes mellitus (ITDM) from a rule prohibiting them from operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in interstate commerce. These exemptions allow the individuals to operate CMVs in interstate commerce.
