U.S. Office of Personnel Management Issues Interim Rule on Veterans' Preference

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management is implementing statutory changes to expand veterans' preference eligibility, in response to the Hubbard Act and the VOW to Hire Heroes Act of 2011, which affects active duty service members' hiring eligibility.
