FAA Prohibits Certain Flights Within Damascus Flight Information Region

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) to prohibit certain flight operations within the Damascus Flight Information Region (FIR) by U.S. air carriers, commercial operators, and foreign air carriers operating U.S.-registered aircraft, effective for 2 years from the rule's publication date.
