U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Safeguards Information-Modified Handling Categorization Rule Change

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of January 28, 2015, for a rule change that removed the Safeguards Information--Modified Handling (SGI-M) designation for certain security-related information. The NRC is also providing implementation guidance and correcting a table related to the rule.
