NRC Proposes Amendment to Holtec HI-STORM 100 Cask System Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations for the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System, a spent fuel storage system, by revising the system's listing to include Amendment No. 8, Revision No. 1, which addresses changes to burnup and cooling time limits, material testing requirements, and fuel definitions.
