U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International's Spent Fuel Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has added Holtec International's HI-STORM Underground Maximum Capacity Canister Storage System, with Certificate of Compliance No. 1040, to its list of approved spent fuel storage casks, enabling underground storage compatible with the HI-STORM FLOOD/WIND System, CoC No. 1032.
