U.S. NRC Approves Standard Design Certification for Korea's APR1400 Nuclear Reactor
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has accepted the standard design certification of the APR1400 Standard Plant Design submitted by Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), allowing the design to be included in the docket for review and approval.
