NRC Drafts Guidance on Alternate Pressurized Thermal Shock Rule for Public Comment

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on draft guidance and technical documents related to the Alternate Pressurized Thermal Shock Rule, which aims to provide new guidance on using alternative fracture toughness requirements to protect pressurized water reactor vessels from thermal shock events.
