NRC Considers Approval of URENCO USA License Amendment Request for Uranium Enrichment Facility Expansion

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is evaluating a license amendment request by URENCO USA to expand the capacity of its uranium enrichment facility near Eunice, New Mexico, as well as related requests to increase uranium possession limits and modify enrichment processes.
