U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations for spent fuel storage by revising the Holtec International's HI-STORM Flood/Wind System listing, allowing for the acceptance of modified fuel assemblies and updated testing requirements for a new material.
