Entergy Operations, Inc. Receives U.S. NRC Exemption for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Entergy Operations, Inc. an exemption to use an alternate methodology for evaluating the integrity of weld materials in the reactor pressure vessel at Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, allowing for the incorporation of fracture toughness test data in determining initial nil-ductility reference temperature values.
