Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC Seeks NRC Approval for Alternative Waste Disposal Method

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considering a license amendment and exemption for the US Ecology Idaho, Inc. disposal facility to accept waste from the former Hematite fuel cycle facility in Missouri, allowing for alternative disposal of buried debris and contaminated materials.
