NRC Approves GE-Hitachi Amendment for Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage at GEMO ISFSI

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved an amendment to GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, LLC's Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-2500, allowing the company to store and transfer spent nuclear fuel at its independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
