Xcel Energy Withdraws Application for Monticello Nuclear Plant Amendment

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved Xcel Energy's request to withdraw its 2014 application to modify the operating license of the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant in Minnesota, which would have changed the required pressure for the Alternate Nitrogen System.
