Exelon Generation Company, LLC Withdraws NRC Application for Proposed Amendments to Braidwood and Byron Stations

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved Exelon Generation Company, LLC's request to withdraw its 2012 application for proposed amendments to the operating licenses of Braidwood Station and Byron Station, which would have modified the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report to describe the use of an Auxiliary Feedwater cross-tie.
