U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System Revision 1

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has amended its spent fuel storage regulations to add Revision 1 to Amendment No. 8 of the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System listing, effective May 2, 2012, with updates to burnup and cooling time limits, material testing requirements, and fuel definitions.
