Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC Seeks Temporary Extension of McGuire Nuclear Station Operations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering a proposed amendment to the operating license of the McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, owned by Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, to temporarily extend certain repair activities associated with the Nuclear Service Water System (NSWS).
