NRC Extends Public Comment Period for Radiological Emergency Response Plans

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has extended the public comment period for its draft plan on preparing and evaluating emergency response plans for nuclear power plants, originally set to close on August 27, 2015, to give the public more time to submit comments.
