U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Geologic Trench Excavation for Paleoliquefaction Study in Arkansas

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has completed an Environmental Assessment to assess potential environmental impacts of excavating trenches for a paleoliquefaction research project at two sites in northeastern Arkansas, concluding that no significant impact is expected.
