Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. Granted Permission to Use Firearms at Indian Point Facility

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. has been granted permission to use certain firearms and ammunition feeding devices at its Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 1, 2, and 3 facility, despite state and federal laws prohibiting such actions. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is accepting public comments on a draft environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact related to the amendment of the facility's operating licenses.
