NRC Proposes Variable Annual Fee Structure for Small Modular Reactors

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing a new fee structure for light-water small modular reactors, which would be based on the reactor's power rating and comply with the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990.
