NOAA and DOI Invite MPAs to Nominate Sites to National System of Marine Protected Areas

NOAA and the Department of the Interior have invited eligible marine protected area programs to nominate their existing sites to the National System of Marine Protected Areas, as outlined in the Framework for the National System of Marine Protected Areas of the United States, published in 2008.
