DoD, GSA, and NASA Issue Final Rule to Implement Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are issuing a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order, which aims to enhance contractor compliance with labor laws to boost efficiency and cost savings in federal contracting. The Department of Labor is also releasing final guidance to support federal agencies in implementing the Executive Order in conjunction with the FAR final rule.
