US Trade Representative Directs Customs to Allow Electronic Visa Submission for African Textile Imports
The US Trade Representative has instructed the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection to permit importers to submit electronic images of an export visa from a sub-Saharan African country when claiming preferential treatment for textile and apparel imports under the African Growth and Opportunity Act.
