Revision to Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act Regulation

The U.S. Commission has adopted new child-resistance requirements for portable gasoline containers, aligning with the revised ASTM F2517-17 standard, which was published in November 2017 and became law in 2018, as mandated by the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act (CGBPA). The new rule will automatically incorporate the revised requirements, effective immediately.
