FDA Amends Food Additive Regulations to Ban Perfluoroalkyl Ethyl Containing Substances

The FDA is removing three perfluoroalkyl ethyl containing substances from food-contact applications for paper and paperboard due to new data on their toxicity, in response to a petition from environmental groups.
