FDA Issues Final Rule on Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food
The FDA is requiring shippers, carriers, and receivers to follow sanitary transportation practices to ensure food safety, as part of its efforts to prevent food safety problems and implement the Sanitary Food Transportation Act of 2005 and the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011.
