3M Corporation Files Petition with FDA to Amend Food Additive Regulations

3M Corporation has submitted a petition to the FDA, requesting the amendment of food additive regulations to remove the use of two perfluoroalkyl substances as water and oil repellents for paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty foods, as these uses have been discontinued.
