FDA Announces Guidance on Evaporated Cane Juice Labeling

The Food and Drug Administration has released a guidance document advising the food industry that sweeteners derived from sugar cane should not be labeled as 'evaporated cane juice,' but rather as 'sugar' with truthful descriptors if desired.
