FDA Filing: Styrene Information and Research Center Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations

The US Food and Drug Administration has filed a petition submitted by the Styrene Information and Research Center, requesting the FDA to remove styrene from its list of approved synthetic flavoring substances and adjuvants in food, as its use in these applications has been discontinued.
